The Nanaimo Dragon Boat Festival Society is a dedicated group of individual who work year-round to present paddlers and spectators alike with the best event possible. Our mission is “To provide the premiere dragon boat destination, a good spirit, a competitive camaraderie and an enjoyable time in the celebration of life.”
The Nanaimo Dragon Boat Festival Society donates the net proceeds to the Nanaimo Hospital Foundation and Nanaimo Community Hospice Society. Since 2003, the society has donated over $600,000 to assist in improving the diagnostic and treatment process of breast cancer patients.
